And then there is Chad Donella as Gibson who overacts his way through the entire movie to the point that at times "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter" veers towards feeling like a spoof which in a way wouldn't have been so bad. Instead the majority of the movie is dominated by Bobby and whilst Sean Patrick Flanery is okay as the fraud the character typically has no depth which is the same when it comes to his friends who end up victims in traps. Gordon end up having very little screen time as in truth do Hoffman and Jill.
What this also means is that those characters who have been part of the franchise such as Jigsaw and Dr. Gordon who is pivotal when it comes to tying up loose ends but that is about it. Well it does allow us to come face to face with Dr. And in all honesty, Bobby's storyline is really just an excuse to deliver a variety of torture porn scenes and has no real significance.
#Saw 3d series
We also get the story of Bobby, a fraudster who has made his name by lying about having escaped a Jigsaw trap and now faces a series of traps to redeem himself and save the woman he loves. The shame of this is that the movie typically opens up with a random trap scene, one which unbelievably happens in a shop window with a shocked crowd watching and one which could have been magnificent if it had done something clever such as being an advertising stunt or a scene for a movie being made but instead it is just random violence which is how most of these scenes end up coming across.Īs for the storyline well we get the Hoffman Jill saga as Jigsaw's assistant goes after Jill after he escaped her head trap and basically out smarts her when she goes to the police. And to throw so much gore in there are some seriously contrived scenes just so that another trap and mutilation can be forced upon the audience. In fact there is so much gore that the actual storyline which ties up the loose ends left over the course of the franchise ends up playing second fiddle. In truth all that "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter" feels like is an excuse to deliver as many blood splattering torture scenes in 3D as possible and it certainly delivers a lot of gratuitous scenes of stomach churning gore. At the same time there is Bobby (Sean Patrick Flanery) who having made his name and fortune as the man who survived Jigsaw's evil games now finds himself facing a new gauntlet of traps and trials as his friends and wife Joyce (Gina Holden) are targeted. But Hoffman is one step ahead of Jill and knows exactly what her plans are and is prepared to play one more game. Having escaped the trap which Jill (Betsy Russell) put him in Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) is after her blood and knowing she has little chance of survival she goes to the police and offers evidence to IA detective Gibson (Chad Donella) in return for protection. Although having said that in the world of movies "Final" never means "Final" so I wouldn't be shocked if at some point there was another "Saw" movie. Beyond the constant stream of body mutilating traps, ripped flesh and blood well "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter" does finally bring an end to the series, tying up loose ends when it comes to various characters.
#Saw 3d full
Well "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter" is certainly not non-descript because this is full on blood splattering 3D for those who watched the "Saw" movies for the torture porn to the point that it borders on the bloody disgusting. It is only a week since I sat down to watch " Saw VI" and yet I can barely remember anything which happened it was so nondescript.
